Hip Hop U Instructor Training
Come learn the techniques and master the moves that make this style of class essential in today’s group fitness programs. In the Hip Hop U training you will learn to incorporate motivating music, hip hop dance technique and the several class formats that will give your participants an unforgettable workout. Time will fly as your class dances their way to a healthier body and a more confident self. This 8 hour long training has been approved by AFAA and all AFAA certified instructors will receive 6 AFAA Continuing education credits for attending the training. The cost for attending this 8 hour training is $140 and $165 on-site registrations. This fee includes intro class, master class and traning tools. ***Please note that to be considered a pre-registered participant registration forms and check must be postmarked 7 days prior to workshop date. For Example: If the JeannieFit training date is set for January 31st 2010 check and registration form must be postmarked January 24th 2010.
Course Objectives
- Background knowledge and understanding on the history of hip hop dance from its origins to today.
- Principles of Human Anatomy as they relate to the Hip Hop Group Fitness participant and technique. Instructors will learn what major muscles are recruited during Hip Hop moves and how to execute them in a safe and correct way. They will effectively learn Hip Hop style and technique.
- To give the instructor easy to follow templates that will help them design an intelligent, creative, motivating, fun and successful hip hop class that will fit the needs of a wide variety of participants that walk into a group fitness room.
